KJ Griffith is a U.S. military veteran and documentary filmmaker currently based in Malaysia. Known as “The Bucket Hat Traveler,” Griffith transitioned from a career of service into the world of film, where he found a passion for capturing stories of resilience, identity, and community. His approach blends curiosity, empathy, and a deep respect for cultural diversity. Through his lens, Griffith seeks to preserve authentic human experiences and bring underrepresented voices to the forefront of storytelling.
